Ghostbusters Afterlife has done something most reboots haven't in recent years and that is pass the torch properly. I was invested in all the new characters and they felt properly placed in the Ghostbusters Universe. There are plenty of nods back to the original movies but I don't think there is nostalgia overkill like some critics suggest. The plot itself is great and easy to follow and the characters have a sprinkle that 80's humour/wit which fits this movie perfectly. Paul Rudd and McKenna Grace are EXCELLENT in this movie. I could watch a new set of movies with the new characters and properly enjoy it as long as Jason Reitman is directing. Hes done a fantastic job !! What a fantastic love letter to the fans and the late Harold Ramis this movie is 👏
