The previous reviews certainly address the brilliant storyline in this film, but I found myself saying... Don't end this now, without healing the daughter...Donna. And the movie ended 1 minute later.
At the end of the movie, the 3 sons were on their path to healing the loss of their mother, and the previous neglect of their father, but the daughter's promiscuous behavior, as a result of not having received enough parental love, never receives resolution.
As a woman growing up in the 60s, I have felt that my 3 brothers had a bit more value than I. Perhaps this is why I feel this way. 🤷 Otherwise, this film is worth watching.
