All action, politically savvy drama. Your emotions will be ramped up to the 10th degree, as you are drawn into a fast paced story, set in Saudi Arabia. The film starts with a terrorist attack against Americans, in an American enclave. This film then takes a different course to most film's dealing with terrorism. It shows how children can and are indoctrinated by adults, into the belief system held by those adults. Revenge becomes the norm. Violence is perpetuated from generation to generation in an unending cycle. Side by side, acts of bloody violence are shown with the emotional cost, these acts engender. Regardless of religion, nationality or sex a common thread equalizes them all. The film takes you on a journey. If you want to watch it as an action flick. Then do. But those of us who want a little more and like to be challenged, will find much to think on long after the end credits. Especially as we are living in a world where democracy is being challenged in a way we never thought possible, where we never thought possible. This film was made in 2007. It reaches out and speaks even louder, to the audience of 2021. Performances are outstanding. Enjoy....

Many exhort the term 'feel good movie', and that does describe 'The Fastest Indian'. From the beginning it draws you into a world of hopes and dreams. Anthony Hopkins gives a beautiful, warm performance as 'Burt' (his accent maybe more Aussie than Kiwi). As the film unfolds you are drawn into 'Burts' world. And what a wonderful world it is. Do watch the film to the credits. That's when you realize how remarkable 'Burts' story was, and is. Enjoy....
