having been a friend of jack's and an actor in one of his films along w mario montez, i remember well an early filming of "no president". the girl who played the nurse later became my girlfriend: laurie waitz. the raja was played by irving rosenthal (first publisher of william burroughs in "big table" chicago) also once my friend. there seems to be much confusion ab jack's original films since jack never really considered them finished. the film he made w mario and me he originally called "wait for me at the bottom of the pool" after a line from one of maria montez's films. the film he called "reefers of technicolor island" - a short perfect jewel of a film - starred only rosalind schwartz and ira cohen (no mario). if anyone is interested in further of my memories of those days (jack's images are indelibly impressed in my brain as all great filmic art shd be) i am open to adding my voice to the conversation.
