The characters in this movie are riveting, which is what makes this so watchable. You become so transfixed on the characters, particularly of course, Beth, the chess seems secondary. The actress is inimitable—making a zillion choices that Beth would make. Truly embodying the characters. The other actors are no less formidable. This is truly a character study and in the end, our Beth makes the right choices. Binged in two days. Mesmerizing Anya Taylor Joy!. Loved it.
