I am writing this review in response to sharda shah's comment. this movie is one of the greatest cinematic accomplishments of the 20/21st century. it is beautifully woven together, giving the appropriate amount of elevation and emotion to a topic of this nature without feeling like an overly sentimental Oscar bait. I am thoroughly confused as to how sharda shah managed to intertwine the Israeli and Palestinian power struggle into their comment (one that should've been talking about the movie instead of their own political agenda) but that could've been forgiven if you hadn't slandered the movie so wrongly. for those of you looking in the reviews to decide if this movie is worth a watch, ignore the comment from sharda shah. the movie is brilliant. it is beautiful, it is artistic, and it is gut wrenching to watch. the sombre tone aside, this is a movie that everyone should watch at least once in their life. as a disclaimer I should add that this movie requires a level of sophistication and maturity to fully enjoy. if you don't think you possess that level of maturity, I suggest you wait and watch it when you do.
