A sincere attempt to showcase the life of Amma! A biopic - well made. Don't expect a typical bollywood masala movie. Kangana Ranaut has acted superlatively. Arvind Swami has not only acted brilliantly but also looks so realistic like MGR in some scenes, its amazing! Full marks to casting people for that. The film manages to keep viewers interested till the end. Some scenes are so damn good, it won't leave your mind for sometime. Parliament scene and MGR's last journey scenes are both shot with meticulous details.
