I bought myself a CD/DVD of version 98 back in 2003 and had lots of fun with it; using joysticks on PS/2 and some on USB on a PC. Unfortunately with the changes in the hardware at the time, I couldn't keep up with it. I switched to Mac OS in 2004 getting into a PowerPC processor environment and that is when I got dropped off. Tried running it in an emulated environment of Wine on Linux but it just wasn't smooth and I got cut out, but I hear of great strides it has made. It was a fine and great game ahead of its time in the day.
