Let's be short and direct: Mayans is a great show, with a well organized story, completely credible and with a good background of investigation for completing the plot. There are no holes in the story, or they will be revealed. Maybe it isn´t a tv show for everyone, specially for those not familiarized with latino culture and social development in the US. But it is defintely a must see, specially if you are comfortable with Sutter's previous works.
