Positives: good acting by the leads, interesting cinematography, a willingness to show realistic harshness & unpleasantry. Negatives: thematic decision to apply 21st Century concerns on 16th Century Britain, including exploration of today's feminist concerns (as noted in some critical industry reviews). Also: while a few Asians & Africans could have been found in Britain at the time -- perhaps at docksides and trading markets, or as slaves -- as nobles in British royal courts? No. Utterly non-believable, which smears any credibility to the production.
