I loved the book that I picked up at a local thrift store connected to our Christian Schools. I come from a half Dutch background and still have family in the Netherlands so the book grabbed my interest. I love World War ll stories and had met one of my grandfather’s brothers in the Netherlands about 2008. He was a graphic artist and pictured events from the war in his town. I am very grateful for the bravery these people showed when they needed to protect those they loved and the country they loved.
