I wanted to like this movie; so many of my friends rave about it, and I felt like I was missing out.
It...was awful. The animation, the plot, the music, the dialogue - nothing about it was good. There's a scene where a character tells another one to "guard him well" and then they both walk away, leaving the captive unguarded. Several times it felt like there were entire scenes missing, and key elements completely disappeared.
I would not recommend this movie, sadly.
