A true masterpiece of a book, Brandon Mull made an incredible world, so creative, so complex, so magical, and yet so believable as well. The cast of characters is enjoyable, the humor is on point, and it perfectly captures a tale of two earth born humans travelling to another magical dimension, without making it seem unbelievable. All this not even to mention the writing itself, and especially, the wonderful plot twists that will leave you in disbelief that not only they happened, but that you had never seen them coming.
