Loved the movie. As I watched, I was reminded of my own childhood - I loved cooking as a young girl and was keen to join Catering Course and the same reason was cited and I was discouraged. 4 decades later, I watched the movie fondly which is guiding youngsters to overcome barriers and choose a profession very objectively. I loved the part, where the protagonist tastes the non veg only to assess its taste and makes no effort or intent to relish it. This nuance beautifully indicates that she remains a vegetarian at heart and indulges in the non veg cooking only as a professional.
The friendship between the two main characters is also very beautifully brought out. At one point, the girl tells her Dad, if you are seeking a groom, I would ask you to look for a boy like Farhan- at the same time, she is clear that she is not really sure if she wishes to marry him. Today's youngsters have a lot of clarity with respect to relationships and they respect each others spaces. As a young girl of today, the film gives importance to the girl realising her dream and being determined in accomplishing it and has no time for romance . That really sends home a clear message.
A beautiful film with a clear message on women empowerment in a field which is even today, lesser women are seen on the top.
Hope the majority perceive the movie in the right spirit.
