I love the movie but I rated it 1 star for the attention of people who don't like it. For those who say stuff like this: -"The plot makes no sense!" It's quite sensible if you pay attention. Deaf girl gets bullied for being deaf. She fights bully back and they grow up. Bully wants to apologize for how he acted and feels guilt. Bully cannot look people in the face. Bully loses bully friends. Bully is suicidal. I know I scattered it a bit but the plot is quite understandable if you pay attention. -"The movie is boring." I don't even have words to say anything about this. -"The movie isn't sad!" Well you have no empathy. I'm not expecting you to cry but this movie has some depressing elements. -"It's cringe!" It makes you look bad to talk about a real life story and call it cringe. -"The movie is 2 hours long!" And? Endgame is 3 hours long. Sound of Music is 2 hours long. Are we just listing movie lengths? To the people who say this stuff. Please do grow an actual taste in movies before you make ridiculous claims like this. If you paid attention, most of these of these can't apply. I understand having an opinion but making wild claims do not make them valid. I understand if the movie was not your cup of tea, I wouldn't expect them to be. The ability to speak does not make you intelligent. Moreover, this is all just an opinion. If it doesn't register or validate itself in your eyes, that's not my problem; it's yours. Happy Holidays everyone!
