Lucifer is filled with compelling characters whose interactions draw the viewer in. It’s a good mix between a cop show and a supernatural show, with a good balance of both elements. The show does fall into a rhythm of how the murder cases are solved, and each episode is a bit predictable. But the connections of the characters and their interactions are strong enough to keep even the slow parts compelling. Each character is very different, and their relationships change and develop mostly smoothly. In the end the connection between the two main characters, and the morals they learn from working together makes the show truly worth watching.
