It’s difficult to explain to folks whom have never served in our military just how much most veterans are offended by the blatant disregard for the uniforms, ranks, customs and courtesies that this show uses to entertain the people that they fought, and some died for. It is commonly believed that actors must have something something “wrong” with their uniform if they are not veterans, and although a “nice thought” it is utterly untrue. This show, by choosing to portray marines, sailors, and soldiers needs to give more than a “nod” to what millions of active duty, retired, veterans, and most especially those whom have sacrificed all to defend this country. Pride is so very important to those whom serve or have served, and that these actors - this show- have none. Having retired after 20+ years - I was proud each day I served - in a proper uniform. Please stop disrespecting our military.
