Years ago I enjoyed reading this book to my young children. They enjoyed the antics of Sally, Nick and The Cat. Dr. Seuss's books lacked diversity and inclusivity but offered an avenue to a remedy. The paper the books were printed on allow one to easily use crayon and colored pencils to interject diversity and inclusivity where Dr. Seuss failed to do so. This allow me to present Sally and Nick as part of a blended family.
All in all I think most of his books are good but I recommend them only if accompanied by a box of colored pencils.
