The Joker is much like Taxi Driver. A tragic and riveting depiction of a broken society, poverty, mental illness and the illusion of good vs bad. Acting, directing and music stood out as exceptional. The Joker isn't a mindless anti-hero prequel and was a piece of art for any time period.
