Much crazier than the first one, wow

Overall, a great watch - I do think there could've been more development of the characters and the exclusion of the love interest, but I think the film has held up really well either way

great effort though left a little too much on the table I think... Why was his office material seized, his partner tells him not to call again, why didn't the blueprints have an additional bedroom, we also never see frank again, and he never asks for his phone back? The inspector pretty much lays out the plot in the beginning scenes...your wife had a miscarriage, and later, we're off the case now...? The kidnapping ring has been operating in the region, yet no other kids' families are introduced or mentioned. Only distinguishable feature on the kid is blue eyes?

I don't know why everyone's being so critical of this film - it's the most action packed movie of 2021 thus far, it has literally nothing but action so much so that the last half is literally all chase and fighting scenes. What more do you want in an action movie? Lol The plot is so straight-forward, and...it's called THE ICE ROAD, so yea there's gonna be a lot of ice and a lot of driving. No one cares that the VFX is bad, this is a NF/Prime release, it was amazing for what it was

Want to watch a good vampire movie instead? Check out Blood Red Sky, lol. This might've been good for suburban home bodies on the Lifetime channel but as a SXSW pick? Pass

One of the most well-rounded films to be released in recent years. Witty writing, lots of character depth and development, empathy, and genuinely funny.

Pretty good, though the ending felt a little weird and the pacing was a little too slow. Great effort though, cool concept

With a couple revisions, this film could be spectacular - first of all, the ghosts aren't needed - the movie stands on its own perfectly fine with the tension between husband, his lies, his wife, and all the supporting characters. The effects felt cheesy and unnecessary, and actually detracted from how good the film and acting was....damn, wanted to like this movie
