A standout thriller with a trio of excellent performances from Cox, Petersen and Farina. Silence of the Lambs comes a poor second.

One of my all time top 5 films; a disgrace that Titanic was awarded the Oscars that L.A. so richly deserved.

One of the few movies that deserves my 5 star rating. Strong performances, gripping story, faultless.

Nothing much to commend it; Cagney poor and Fonda much too old for the part of the title character.
Anyone familiar with the book would not enjoy to any great extent.

I stopped watching after one episode, acting abysmal, especially Shaun Parkes.
Black DI and Asian DS, presumably to portray our inclusive society, though I was surprised that a female wasn't in charge of the investigation.

By far the best version of the much loved classic, outdoing Scrooge of 1951 by streets; Tiny Tim looks the part compared to the plummy voiced, extremely healthy looking son of the much too old for the part Mervyn Johns in '51.
Perfectly cast, and Patrick Stewart plays his part by not overwhelming the company.
Don't go near the George C. Scott disaster!
