From an artistic point of view, I thought it was fantastic. The rawness from the beginning is totally unadulterated. Right from the first scene where the little girl escapes, to the first blast from the shotgun lifting the dad several feet in the air.
I love horror movies but I fell in love, once again, with this movie. I had nightmares after I watched it...
And after the intensity of the first...45mins, we're left with no dialogue, now THAT was awesome.
Personally, I think the most beautiful thing about this movie is the "if you know, you know" quality about it.
Who would ever think that a beautiful family with a beautiful house would have the ugliest secret in their basement. Amazing!
Definitely one of my favourite horror movies ever. It touches you unlike anything touched you before(except you were touched as a child)
