Genuinely don’t know why this movie is getting so much flack?? It’s a fun watch, and anyone who says “I had it on in the background” doesn’t deserve to leave a bad rating, because….they didn’t watch it🤷🏻. I don’t know how you think you can leave a genuine review of something you weren’t paying attention to. Also so everyone saying “it was hackneyed/predictable” I don’t watch heist/indy jones type movies for a unique cinematic masterpiece the likes of which no one’s ever seen, it’s a Indiana jones/heist movie, you watch it for the fun of it. There’s well choreographed and shot action, likeable (and unlikable) characters you get invested in the survival of, beautiful and interesting scenery, and a little bit of mystery. There’s never going to be a life-changing Indiana jones type movie from this point, bc they’re all unavoidably generally hitting the same plot beats, which is FINE! It’s weird to pretend it has to be anything other than a genuinely fun watch that’s good to look at. This is giving oceans 8 and ghost busters (2016) type of hate, “it didn’t do anything new and wasnt for me so it’s bad and I hate it”

Completely enjoyable, it’s literally just fans of the old series being bitter that it’s not The Same. While I get being disappointed that something you feel nostalgic over is coming back, but not how you remember, but it’s no reason to hate on a perfectly enjoyable film. Whenever an enjoyable movie comes out that has a mostly female cast, you KNOW it’s going to bomb because of preemptive negative reviews spurred on by disgruntled fan-boys. The dialogue felt real in a fun way, I found myself in love with the characters at every turn.

Loved it. Not the movie I thought it would be, but in a good way. Spoilers***** No shock that the doc was actually planning on hurting him, and totally called the ghosts trying to help him from earlier on, but all in all I was surprised with the twist, and enjoyed every minute of it. Plus I have a weakness for anti-hero’s. the (up until now) completely innocent kid triumphing over those who would kill him due to his birth circumstances is a fun twist that feels like a win/happy ending, considering we followed this poor terrified kid’s perspective through the process of the plot unfolding. Anyway I loved it. Totally recommending it to my friends.

I loved it, literally the only reason people (mostly guys) are giving bad reviews is BC “it lacks originality” even though this is a CONTINUATION, not a reboot. And no one has complaints about the sequel. It’s just a bunch of annoyed fan boys getting mad BC there’s a main woman character that’s competent. Any time females get cast in a lead or as in any way high in the hierarchy competency or skill wise, fan boys online will come out in droves to complain about it even before it comes out. I doubt there would be a fit of anywhere near the same magnitude if the two main characters where both well known male actors. Overall this movie genuinely made me laugh, gasp, and engage. I greatly enjoyed it.
