I'm giving this movie a solid thumbs up. Some scenes are hard to watch as noted by those who are dragging this movie but life isn't always a fairy tale. This is also a fictional account of her life, but it's no secret that Marilyn was abused by many men in her life. The trauma she goes through in this storyline isn't a shocker. If you can't face the ugly side of life, don't watch the movie. I must say Ana de Armas blew me away with her acting. There are some scenes in the movie where she looks and sounds just like Marilyn Monroe. By far, this is the best movie I've seen on Marilyn's life. Well done, Netflix!
