This was really well done in every respect and it’s unfortunate that the network pulled the plug on it. Holding a mirror up to the viewing public can be a risky business, especially when it’s done in such a direct and uncompromising way. The big networks don’t like taking risks and putting their audiences in the position of having to think and look inside themselves and confront their human frailties.

Like most of these series that are funded one year at a time, Zoo is interesting and entertaining enough for a year. After that they lose steam and then go off the rails while attempting to find an approach that will insure their survival. It's impossible to write a quality script that will keep an audience engaged when you don't know if and when it's going to end or if or when individual actors will be dropping out.

Another terrific production from Scandinavia.

excellent series from the start. even after 8 seasons I find it refreshing and entertaining. highly recommended and start from as early in the series as possible.
