There was unnecessary sex and nudity. If the film was meant as a critique of the treatment of infertility and/or pregnancy then I think it could've gone without so many shots of the lead's breasts.
There was also a lot of unexplained plot points. What was happening the dream? Was her husband sleeping with the doctor and why did the nurse attack her, etc. My problem is not that there were unanswered questions but that there were no answers to ANY questions.
The plot was unsatisfying and the ending was unsatisfying, so what's the point I guess? If she's an unreliable narrarrator then why not be clear about that?
Finally, it felt like fear mongering. It felt like less of a critique and more of a you should be afraid of IVF. Theres gotta be a better way to comment on issues in horror without just being triggering to the victims of the problems its addressing.
