This show is based off of a book, and I'm genuinely surprised by the negative reviews left below. Emma, Ruth, and Adeel are fantastic actors who bring a refreshing nuance to the stage. I'm only two episodes in, and it's already added to my watch list. I'm leaving a 4-star because it's only 2 episodes deep, but will update in the future.

Things that bother me: * Noticing influencers in the cast. * Everybody keeps saying "this is a matter of life or death" but really, it's just cash. * The one guy who makes doe eyes and fake tears at every turn is in the final 2.... Again. It's just cash. You don't need to over-act. * Mei dropped her accent in the finale after Sam is eliminated, hugs Phill and says "It's almost over. Okay?" No broken English or accent. * This was so so scripted, almost everything is literally cringe. * This show should have had people that we'd care about. Instead, all I see is selfish from very many people who feel entitled. This could have been a really fun show to watch, but it lost the message.

Hi. I haven't read the books and I'm only here, expecting a good time. Why are Stephen King stories always so terribly adapted? Letting go of the fact that this is clearly a kids show with a MA rating simply to allow torture of children and active deaths... The lead character is horribly written and doesn't translate as intelligent in any way. What he seems is annoying, uppity, full of his own importance and impatient with everyone around him. Let's not even talk about the times he's in his head, talking to the other kids. Listen, if your actor is so bad that he can't even find the light, then I guess you already know your show is what it is. I subscribed to MGM because of "From", but even that show is incredibly weak for what it is. Honestly, I'm sorry, but MGM just isn't worth subscribing to. Call my spending loss your savings gain.

Not a terrible show. All the negative reviews are from people who don't like subtitles or clothed women warriors. Not the best show. It's just another one catered to Jason Momoa. Shrug.

This show doesn't suffer froma lack of MGM promotion or management, it's simply full of bad writing and an unknown goal to somehow make it seem elevated. If you want something easy to fall asleep to (not too many loud alarms or flashing lights) then this is a good show for people like us :) I just wish this series had been better. Terrible writing. Like, the kind of writing that makes you second guess how much they're being paid..... Cause I could have done a better job ;) HMU if interested.

Please let this show die instead of turning in to a bunch of weekly episodes. Season 8 had literally nothing that captured my interest, and my bar was set pretty low, my fellow Pickle Ricks.

Controversial take: this show is honestly just not that good. The first season was fantastic, however I won't forgive the horrible writing starting mid way through season 2. If you are looking for a show to binge, I've got a dozen to recommend. This is not one of them. I think the only reason why people loved it was because of the pandemic and needing to wait for it to come out weekly.

This was meh at best. It drags at points where it should have had a better story to tell. I honestly didn't care about any of the characters, which is a first.

I've loved this anthology over every season, however series 4 was simply not good. I'm begging the creatives behind this show to go read scifi short stories for inspiration (example: Beyond the Rift) as there are so many places where inspiration shines. Season 4 essentially boiled down to dildo jokes, rehashing earlier episodes, and left me with nothing memorable. This is a true shame. Suffering from creative burn-out? It's okay, but there so much insp around that honestly I don't buy it. This season was lazy.
