Thoroughly engaging sci fi with stunning effects that brings into question a number of ethical points whilst delivering a captivating & somewhat chilling plot. Some excellent performances. It is a slow burner so expect a second season.

Charming sitcom that perfectly blends humour with pathos and even a little mystery. Very sad to see the end of this special BBC series from the Horrible Histories Team as the Christmas Special waves good bye to us all.

Its hard to talk about Silent Night without a spoiler which is exactly what Prime TV manage in their synopsis of the film. So skip straight to the movie if thats possible. I found the beginning slow and stilted and to be honest, not really funny at all although. I nearly switched off but persevere. Its worth it. Not going out is a comedy. This is not but it is a drama that slowly builds. I found myself surprisingly drawn into the fate of the households visitors and the characters grew on me too. My advice is its well worth the watch and is very moving, even shocking, but dont read any reviews first. I wish I hadn't.

This movie manages to touch upon a number of historic issues whilst providing the suspense and fast paced action delivered in other Predator films. As a rare example, it treats the indigenous tribes people at the heart of the film with the dignity, sensitivity and respect they deserve and missing from so many movies.

Great imaginative fun take on a classic fairytale. A bit corny but who cares...

A Tarrantinoesque high octane journey from beginning to end. But who will survive it? Ah such mystery is just part of the thrill.

A beautifully filmed series that's had me hooked. The acting is superb and great richness in characters. If there is a criticism it is that throughout the series elephant in the room is present but never gets a mention. I'll let you work out what that is.

Gripping subtitled Russian action thriller which kept me hooked until the end as the plot and characters twist and turn. Is robot Arisa 'better than us' ? Watch all 16 episodes to find out.

Thoroughly enjoyed the quirky, colourful, if somewhat formulaeic, new cheffing amateur sleuth and her detective. Makes a change from the many depressing drab police series around. Charming characters throughout, even her somewhat critical son... A half decent whodunnit at the core plus scrummy cooking. Made me hungry watching. Looking forward to the next episode.
