This movie is in a genre of its own! Definitely a good watch - if you have a couple hours of free time - watch it. Ari wrote and produced this movie - one of his first movies. I watched MidSommer also by Ari and found lot’s of resemblance between the two. Camera angles, scene transitions and etc. Ari is on point with his stuff and I cannot wait to see his art evolve. Some people are way to harsh on a first time movie writer and director. Maybe, all the harsh comments are a good sign because people are expecting a lot more out of the movie written and directed by someone that is just getting their feet wet. I’m sure Ari will listen to his fans and give us better stuff down the road. Hereditary is a 5 star from me. Well done Ari. Well done.
