There was A LOT of music and it was a distraction to the story and it made it less interesting to the kids. The music made it more of an adult story because the music (though they were pop songs) actually contributed to the feelings and thoughts of the characters in an interesting way. I appreciated the different twists added to the story. The prince knowing who Cinderella was and the step-mother dynamic was also different in an interesting way. I also appreciate the addition of the queen's influence on the story.
