Season 19 Episode 1 seems to include a subtle commentary on the cencorship issues Family Guy itself encounters with its viewers. Its very clear that, throughout the previous seasons, Seth has discreatly underlined the infact discrepancies between Tv shows and a childrens development. Unlike many angry internet moms, Seth belives that family guy's content should not stand as liable for poor behaviour among children, with the behaviour being more responsabilbe by the degree perental safehousing. As this episode entails these ideals of cencorship, the message is mouthpeiced by a conflict sorrounding stewies first word; which in this case was a swear word. Outraged by a baby mouthing profanity, Stewies mom Lios is quick to blame Tv shows for puppeting stewies bold vocabulary. However, as she fails to dig for evidance within the Tv she simultaniously discovers the blame is within her own actions; "oh my god! its me... i'm the swearer". Lios, now in favour of Seth's prophecy, further awknowldges her own faliuers as a perent and futher looks in her own perental dynamics to alter Stewies information intake. Within this context, we can notice the themes of self responsabilty which circle around Lios and Stewie: it is clear that it is actually lios's obligation to mediate the information Stewie recieves instead of it being down to the baby.
