William Hogan

So far so bad. The first two stories are terrible. Does not even sound like a King story. Devoid of any creativity. And, as usual, his endings are terrible. I will continue reading the rest of the book, as it was a gift. But I don’t hold out any hope. Only Kings sycophants will praise this book. Just as they did with his last three books. Pick it up at the library. Don’t waste $30 on this crap. There are way better authors out there.

Terrible book. Long winded and not much suspense. You could figure out the the plot and who is behind everything quickly in this boring tale. Tired of King taking swipes at the conservatives, both in the media and the people who are conservative. I can only guess the people who rate this book at 5 stars or even 4 and state "best non horror story ever" are his loyal sycophants who praise everything he writes. He's lost his touch, if he ever had any. His books start interestingly enough but they seems to lose any suspense by the endings. Waste of time reading this book. Look for something better.
