To be completely honest, i had never heard of Fran Lebowitz before - but when Martin Scorsese, New York and a subject meet.... well do i really need to finish that sentence? I have just bought a couple of her books and watched many more interviews past and present - so hopefully people will both forgive me and read into the code i am writing in..... that this is good! To Quote her in this Series - "i know when something is bad - when i don't finish it - i am asked to give my opinion of it - but have forgotten all about it! Well i started watching the first episode at 9pm and finished the last at 1am - i told many people to watch it - and now i am giving my first review about it. The only downside would be Spike Lee slouched in a chair - wearing a base ball cap in doors "interviewing her" I found myself yelling "let her answer the question you asked!" and the eyes of Fran Lebowitz seemed to say the same thing. The 7/8 minutes of Spike Lee interrupting made me wonder "if this made the final cut - what was left out? - though this is a man who thought it be wise that the world needed a remake of the Masterpiece OldBoy and said to himself... "I AM THE MAN FOR THE JOB!!"
