It's like the writer said, let's pack in everything salacious we can think of to draw in viewers. It backfired. I turned to something else after about 15 minutes. When I think the excellence that was Succession filled this timeslot just last week for the last time, makes me dislike it even more.

I loved seeing Pan African and Meso American cultures and history on display. The rise of Shuri arc was well done. The costumes were incredible.

I loved the look and feel of this film. It was a love story, an odyssey and an examination of the complex relationship between minorities and police.

I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. I like summer movies that are stunt-filled, lots of testosterone and with playful banter between the stars. No shortage of that here and the women are just as badass. Oh yeah, The Rock, Jason Statham AND Idris Elba are in it ! 😍😍😘
