I was nervous to see this movie as I loved the original when I was a kid and I honestly thought they completely ruined it. They have completely changed the story line, and have centered the entire thing around human characters. Because the elephants do not speak, the mouse is completely cut out of the movie, and the plot is completely different it was just terribly disappointing for me. If you did not grow up loving and watching the original you might enjoy it, but personally I really didn’t care for it and wouldn’t recommend it.
