Very engaging, funny, insightful and great to see a snapshot in time that brings back so many memories. ..the music, the cars, the clothes, and the morality of the times is spot on. Cher is her quirky, unforgettable single mother Rachel Flax. Her performance is authentic, and the chemistry between her and Bob Hoskins is so real that it seems effortless.
I loved the music, and remember the time so well...and Wynona as Charlotte, the disaffected, sometime delusional teenage daughter is just as real. kate , the younger daughter is the comic relief , and is magic. This is a film not to be missed. ...very thought-provoking, and so identifiable for those of us who were there, then....an unforgettable down memory lane.
