the production is nice, definitely entertaining; however, I don't think you can actually call this an Aladdin movie, it looks more like an old Indian fairytale brought into life than an Arab one. I don't know what it is with Hollywood that they either use stereotypes or just completely false features when they try to portray Middle Eastern culture. I'm not an Arab and yet I can tell that those clothes and dances were false.

I watched it last night and I was sooooo disappointed. First of all, they ruined King Neptune, second of all, they ruined the whole backstory. If you're a SpongeBob fan, you'll know that the backstory they gave was completely inaccurate. Also, I don't know who this movie was made for. It was to childish and cliché to entertain an adult audience, the jokes were honestly not funny, and then it's also inappropriate for children because some scenes can come off as too scary for them (like the scene when Plankton was fried, or the exorcist reference, and the zombies). I think they should take a step back and make a good old classic SpongeBob film like the old episodes of the series.
