I enjoyed reading this book. It is disturbing as it opens your eyes to the motivations and plight of the immigrants from Central America and Mexico trying to flee the terror, poverty, injustice and violence of their living areas. This is an important book to read. It is compelling and well written. The author has done an excellent job of carefully and thoroughly researching the plight of the people riding Le Bestia and the good people in Mexico who try to help them in any way they can on their most difficult journey to the North. Read it and be enlightened and possibly have your point of view on these desperate immigrants changed.
