This cinematic masterpiece is a breathtaking and unforgettable experience. I keep coming back to re-watch it every now and then. It delves into the darkest corners of human nature, exploring themes of lust, pride and greed, 3 out of 7 sins. The three intertwined stories present a raw and unflinching portrayal of the darker aspects of humanity. All 3 stories have excellent storylines and a satisfying endings, so whoever said there’s no storyline at all or stories are at cliffhangers are just stupid and need to rewatch it. If you’re a fan of philosophy and dark Grimm’s tales, this movie is a feast you can’t miss.

Spoiler Alert! Graphic was very beautiful and that’s about it. Storyline is a HUGE disappointment: bland, predictable, meaningless, so many holes I’m surprised it got to production. - why Ember’s dad decided to leave? Just because of ONE storm? The reason sound ridiculous and inconvincing - the whole movie started because of the water guy decided to EXTREMELY rush (take 3 seconds) to write the fire girl multi tickets that lead her to shut her business down. Then spend the entire movie trying to undo it. Really? Can’t you find better and more convincing reason to start? - why there’s the Element city at the first place? Who built it? Why the builder/founder hate Fire? - what cause the Leak? Why was it there? - what happened to the Leak after that? The movie just ends without any explanations. I can go on and on. The movie was just ridiculously bad, feel like a high school mini project than a serious movie made by a multibillion company. Definitely not recommend!

The worst. 35min into the 1st episode. It’s totally messed up and doesn’t make any sense. The story was cut+glue randomly together that I don’t understand anything. First she ran into his house totally random, was put to jail, then he bailed her out using magic??. Then she was living with him and hand out leaflet to make money. Then they were chasing by some bad guys. Then the jumped the cliff and he forgot everything???? What the hell I just watched? (And not even done with 1st episode yet) Never seen such terrible edits like this ever in my life. Waste of time! Don’t watch it.

Very bad and cringy. Try until episode 4 but can’t take it anymore. HUGE disrespect to Chinese culture and at the same time, purposely dig deeper the racist hole which is actually NOT like that at all in real life. I’m Chinese and been working in America for over 10 years, everywhere I go I receive repect from coworkers and bosses. They may make harmless jokes about my culture but not at all thrash my work skills or reject me because of my race, and no I’m not doctor or engineer, just a normal worker. Stop painting a picture where racist is HIGHLIGHTED and made worse than reality. Stop putting racist thoughts in children head so they’re growing up thinking they’re always treated unfairly because of how they look. That just make them growing up being lazy, self-center and like to play victim. It won’t help them “embrace” who they are. My children, which are true American born Chinese, doing great at school, have friends and enjoy their student lives like any other normal kids. If they have problems at school I’ll just them to tough it up, not “oh because your Asian” All in all, this movie is a cheap rip off of Jorney to the West and a poor execution of Disney trying to “represent” a whole new culture in front of young audiences. Skip this! 👎👎👎

1 star for George, 1 star for Julia. They literally save the whole movie. That’s all. The storyline is way predictable. The other characters are SO bad acting it’s painful to watch, especially Maxime. He can’t barely finish his lines, mumbling those words under his breath, and no emotion. Kaitlyn not so bad but also, can’t “feel” anything from her character. The other characters (the mom, dad, the translator girl) are actually acting better than them. There’s 0 chemical between Kaitlyn and Maxime. At some point I just hate seeing them on screen because the love feel so “fake”. Both characters are flat and dull. Overall, it’s a “feel good” movie with happy ending and gorgeous scenes but 0 feelings. I won’t watch again. Not recommend.

Just watch halfway through 1st episode and already overwhelmed with all the screams! Is it Korea’s film style? If yes I’m not a fan of Korea film then. Why too much screaming! It gets confusing sometimes, can’t they just talk normally? What the need for all the screams? Within the first 15min there’re already a lot of screams. All the women in it have the tendency to jump on strangers and scream and punching??? And all the men just have to talk really loudly, snapping, yelling and cursing at other people. I dropped!

It was painful to watch. I tried to finish it because I don’t like leave thing undone. Paul is the only reason worth watching. The entire movie was ridiculous, so many holes and mistakes in plots that even an amateur like me can point out a bunch. Do not recommend at all!

I don’t love it. Don’t hate it. Super cheesy and quite boring. But the decorations is amazingly beautiful and main actor is gorgeous. It’s a “feel good” little movie that I would not watch again, but would recommend if you’re super boring on Christmas eve and got nothing else to watch!
