Ok so I am going to skip all the reasons that this movie is terrible like the fact that it’s cliche, predictable from minute one, and subpar acting because everyone else already said that. Instead, I’ll tell you something most people probably missed that pissed me off: while talking to his dad about wanting to go to Yale instead of a “public” college (first off, he literally talks about how he’s too good for public school), and to use a comparison he uses “the boring fat girl down the street who is just ok” to a “sophisticated blah blah blah girl” who went to an Ivy League school. As if it’s ok to make women who aren’t super model rich and intelligent feel like less of a person. Talk about giving teen girls the wrong image 🙄
