Probably amongst the last to watch the movie bt only to get disappointed. I went to the movies expecting a massive hit , which it already was by that time. The cinematography is upon which the entire success of the movie rests. Nimish Ravi is the man who makes it a thriving hit in the eyes of many. But apart from that , what else stands out?! It is a clear adaptation of Twilight saga, there are many elements to support it. Firstly the theme, Chandra is not a yakshi bt a vampire, comfortably fits into the Vampire genre. As about the similarities, in Twilight, they can't step in sunlight, they hve lightening speed, drinks blood, obviously. Most striking part is how they become one, so when one vampire bites a human to inject the venom , if the person can survive it, they turn into a vampire. Where is the originality in here? It's just copying. There are even scenes fully lifted from Twilight 2008 to lokah. When Sunny was about to be hit by a vehicle, Chandra rushes to the spot to save him. Nobody saw her there except him, Didn't we see the same in Twilight?. On what basis is Chandra made a superhero! Just because she holds supernatural powers doesn't make her a hero unless she does some heroic activities. There was enough plot for her to work on with the organ trafficking mafia in the city. Chandra stayed reactive than proactive. Kalyani s acting skills haven't improved either. She did some great action scenes bt in terms of acting, she is where she was before Lokah. Chandu Salim Kumar proved to be an excellent choice for the role, he nailed his part by adding the comic element the movie needed.
