Dont go expecting an exact remake because it will be an underwhelming experience. Dany devito has the most rounded character...other than that its pretty monotone. Movie isnt that bad if you dont go comparing the 2. Not a bad film at all but it has too many plot points to the point where you're asking yourself "why?". There was no mean elephants who gave him the name Dumbo, no best friend mouse that cheered him up (i guess he had the 2 kids), Dumbo didnt get drunk, there were no crows as well as other small details. Again, dont go watch the remake, go watch a new movie named Dumbo.
