If i'm going to be completely honest... The only enjoyable thing about this game is how beautiful it looks all throughout it. The only times where I was not irritated with it were with joel in the flashback scenes where it actually telling a story. If the story had been rearranged differently then I feel it could have lived up to its predecessor, but that's not the case. I'm just sad to see what could've been and then this is what we naughty dog fans got. I can understand wanting to tell your own story, but when telling the story upsets your fanbase, you might want to take a second look at the story.
