One of the worst movies I've ever seen, and easily one of the worst that Netflix has pushed out. Atrocious dialogue, editing that takes away from every scene, and an absurd take on a classic folktale that feels like it's attempting to be a parody of itself.

Marvel's first female lead film, and coincidentally one of the most dull in the entire franchise. None of Brie Larson's Oscar winning capabilities show here, in this sometimes entertaining, but mostly uninspired story. The Skrulls are the most unique part of the film, especially Ben Mendelsohn who steals every scene he's in, and Nick Fury adding decent comic relief. But Captain Marvel fails to help the audience relate to the main character, or also emphasize the point of the film other than to get us prepared for Endgame. Nice try, but you can do way better.
