The first and especially the second season do an astonishing job of progressively escalating individual storylines in the plot until they reach a point of detonation and gracefully unfold. While laughing from start to finish, you endure the aggravating resistance to change Lisa Kudrow masterfully portrays before you are rewarded with satisfactory payoffs and a refreshingly concise ending. What starts off as a cringe comedy about the superficiality of Hollywood and its hollow residents turns out be a beautifully written story of self-reconciliation with a compelling message.
