Without any exaggeration Paul Alisson know to explain difficult subjects to the readers of all backgrounds. I have been teaching survival analysis for 20 plus years and I always enjoyed this book as a great reference. This book was like a TA for my classes. I have used this book for more the 10 time for my courses in regression with class size of at least 30 students. Honestly I can claim it is one of best available books for application of regression and ANOVA. David Kleinbaum does not need to be introduced. His reputation of writing simple and clear is a head of him. I would highly recommend this book not only as a text book also for people who like to do research in medical field.
