Really enjoyed this series.
The show takes couple of liberties here and there, but those few liberties they take, are totally forgivable, with this being an adaptation.
For the most part, the story of the season sticks very closely to the plotline of the game, Tekken 3.
Quite enjoyed seeing the characters use the moves from the games, and characterization of the ones such as Jin & Heihachi were done pretty well.
And I thought their decision to focus on Jin's arc was the right one, given the whole games series main plot line is the "Mishima Saga" after all lol.
I only wish it was a bit longer (should have been longer, like between 8 to 10 episode season), with some of characters being fleshed out a bit more (such as Xiaoyu & Hwoarang's relationship with Jin before the tournament).
The triangle shadows were noticeable, but didn't think they were a huge deal to really bother me.
But despite those couple of shortcomings, all in all, this is the best Tekken adaptation yet out of them all, and seriously it deserves to be renewed for season 2.
It just has potential to be even better when those issues are addressed with more episodes per season.
So yup, definitely recommended to watch if you're a fighting games fan, even moreso if you're a Tekken fan.
