An unrealistic, prententious, self absorbed and indulgent film that is a technical tour de force, but one in which plot, depth and characters are conspiciously absent, although the nods to political correctness are not.
I found myself constantly distracted by the incessant monotony of the irrelevant soundtrack which reflects the monotony and claustrophobia of the cinematrography, not to mention the clunky dialogue. The entire film is a gimmick which is more akin to a computer game.
The elephant in the room of course, is that it is also utterly, utterly boring and immediately forgettable.
