Honestly, this show continues to make me cry. I've gained a certain fondness over many characters, but Uhtred the most. His story saddens me, but what makes me love him is his strength despite everything. I mean he sees his dad die as a young boy, is taken in as a son to Ragnarsson (May he rest in peace). He is both a Dane and a Saxxon. He's a fighter and such a kind loving soul. He deserves to be a King and I know King Alfred saw that. I would definitely recommend this show. It's a tale of a hero, a strong fearless hero.
