Combat is imprecise and sloppy. Love the level design, but expected better combat since Stig who directed God of War 3 also directed this game. In the end it just takes a bunch of ideas from Sony's games (unsurprisingly) and does not execute them as well or offer anything original.
It feels just like the Disney Wars movies, shallow, uninspiring and forgettable. Great music though, but controls are hit or miss. Several times I went to climb or block only for it not to register.
Platforming feels loose too. Glad I rented it because it is not worth $60 bucks. I would suggest anyone wait til its 30 as the levels themselves are interesting if you like collectable and exploration.
After playing GOW,Shadow of Mordor and DMC5 the combat leaves more to be desired. I would even take it a step further to say that Ninja Gaiden Sigma has better combat.
In the end I could not help but think about how much better Uncharted 4's controls and mechanics feel after playing it again recentley.
